About Me

Hello and welcome to my portfolio website ☺

My name is Sarah and I’m currently studying to be a Full–Stack Web Developer in the UNB Coding Bootcamp program.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Math and Physics, and I specialized in Python Programming. After graduation, I spent over a year as a Research Assitant at MUN where I collaborated on a Space Physics research project titled “Analysis of Radiation Belt ‘Killer’ Electron Energy Spectra.” Our paper is published in the Journal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics and can be accessed here.

Through my current employment at Target Marketing & Communications, I was exposed to the world of web development. I started learning some basic HTML and CSS while working on creating emails and digital display ads, and I was instantly hooked. I’m logical, a problem–solver, and have always been hard–working and studious, but I’m creative at heart. Web development is the perfect way to satisfy my creativity while focusing my career around my strengths and scientific background, and I’m excited to learn more!
